Joining the ranks of stars such Kylie Minogue and Akon, Colombian singer Shakira announced that she will record a song for a Bollywood film.
According to reports, the star will lend her vocals to a “sensual” dance number written by Bollywood’s famous composing duo Salim-Sulaiman, which will be featured in a film directed by South African model Candice Boucher.
The song, which will have a “cabaret style,” will be mostly sung in English, with a few easy Hindi words.
The Colombian singer performed in the Bollywood capital of the world, Bombay, three years ago and has since expressed a desire to be part of the popular industry.
